A word about me
A Promise Kept. A Commitment to Whitefish.
When I first ran for City Council in 2021, I made a simple promise: I would run only twice as a City Councilor.
I kept that promise. This is my second and final campaign for one of the six seats of council member.
For me, serving on City Council is not about building a career in politics, it’s about giving back to a community I deeply love, then stepping aside.
🌲 Whitefish
I came to Whitefish 20 years ago because of its unique character, a small mountain town with strong community spirit, surrounded by incredible natural beauty. My wife Roxy and I are proud to call this home. We believe in building a community where future generations can thrive.
✈️ A Career of Leadership & Service
Before serving on Council, I built a career as a pilot, aviation entrepreneur, and local business leader. I know firsthand the challenges of running an organization, balancing budgets, and making tough calls that impact people’s lives.
That experience prepared me to bring discipline, accountability, and practical problem-solving into public service.
🏛 Why I Serve
I believe local government should stay focused on local issues: housing, growth policy, infrastructure, and fiscal responsibility. It should not be a platform for national politics.
That’s why, during my first term, I worked to:
Deregulate ADUs and reduce parking mandates to create more housing.
Protect the Whitefish turf airstrip by clarifying zoning with the FAA and GPIA.
Oppose unfunded projects and insist on fiscal responsibility.
Keep partisan politics out of City Council chambers.
I’ve also stayed accessible hosting Mondays Open to the Public, producing over 70 YouTube updates, and meeting with more than 280 residents one-on-one.
🌟 Looking Ahead
In my second and final term as Councilor, I want to finish the work we began:
Delivering a meaningful Growth Policy.
Reducing barriers to housing.
Implementing self-funded solutions for traffic and infrastructure.
Ensuring City Council remains transparent and accountable.
