Expand opportunities by removing unnecessary hurdles, making long-term rentals more available. Reduce minimum parking ratios so housing costs don’t spiral upward due to excessive regulation. Streamline project approvals so developers can build efficiently and cost-effectively.
🚦 Improve Infrastructure & Traffic with Self-Funding Tools
Support paid non-resident parking, generating revenue from visitors to fund local improvements. Pilot weekend pedestrian zones downtown, creating a safer, more vibrant experience for residents and guests. Advance long-term transportation solutions that address congestion without burdening local taxpayers.
💵 Keep Fiscal Discipline Oppose projects that spend beyond identified revenues. Ensure every major capital project comes with published and debated funding sources. Protect resort tax and mill levy revenues so they remain tied to community priorities.
🗣 Transparency & Public Engagement Continue hosting “Mondays Open to the Public” for open-door access to me. Keep publishing YouTube updates and meeting recaps so residents can follow what’s happening in City Hall. Push for a culture of openness and accountability across City Council and boards.
